Robin Elie - Realtor/Owner/Notary

Robin Elie moved to Garberville from her birth place London, Ontario, Canada in 1977. Robin and Brian were just newlyweds. First building their dream home and then welcoming two children Forest and Somer. Growing an organic garden, hiking, biking, swimming, kayaking and supporting our local community kept her busy those first years.

Robin worked at Richardson Grove State Park and Benbow Lake Recreation Area as well as being a room mother in her children's classroom. As the years flew by Robin started working full time as a receptionist / dental assistant at Redwoods Rural Health Center. Eventually her involvement with school led her to become an instructional assistant at Redway Elementary School. Robin's interest in children and education led her to apply as summer school secretary at Redway Elementary and then was hired as full time secretary at Osprey Learning Center. She then became secretary at Miranda Junior High and eventually became secretary of South Fork High School.

After both children graduated Robin decided it was time to further her own education. Although still involved in the Southern Humboldt Schools Foundation, which raises money to supplement our local schools, Robin's path led to helping her husband Brian. Now a licensed Real Estate agent and Notary Public, Robin and Brian are co owners of Madrone Realty.
