David Kirby: Dave was born in Pasadena, California and grew among orange groves in the San Gabriel Valley. After graduation from Duarte High School, he enlisted in the U.S. Air Force and served four years including a year in the Republic of Viet Nam.

Mr.Kirby came to Humboldt County over 25 years ago. He has built up an impressive record of community service over that time. He served four years as a member of the Humboldt County Planning Commission, served for over 10 years on the Southern Humboldt Community Credit Union loan approval committee, was a member of the Southern Humboldt School District's facilities committee, was a long time brigade member and training officer for the Phillipsville Volunteer Fire Department, served on the board of Rewoods Rural Health Center and now serves as a director of the Southern Humboldt Community Healthcare District which operates the Jerrold Phelps Hospital and the Southern Humboldt Community Clinic.

Dave became interested in Real Estate as a profession while serving on the County Planning Commission and has extensive knowledge of zoning and land use issues. His hobbies include fishing, camping, and exploring the wonderland that is Northern California.
